The Structural Systems
M.S.E.
Modular
GravityStone Evo (Fat Face 2.0) combined with geogrid is ideal for fill site applications. The system can be constructed as a vertical wall or with a 4.5° batter, depending on design requirements.
Ideal for cut sites, GravityStone Evo (Fat Face 2.0) can interlock with GravityStone Trunks and Anchors to form multi-depth modular gravity walls. This configuration allows wall footprints as narrow as 30% of wall height, depending on soil and site conditions. The system can be constructed as a vertical wall or with a 4.5° batter, depending on design requirements.
Hybrid
M.S.E. Over Modular
Using GravityStone Evo Modular in the lower portion of the wall reduces excavation and overall footprint. The wall can then transition to MSE construction once sufficient space is available behind the wall to accommodate required geogrid lengths. The system can be constructed as a vertical wall or with a 4.5° batter, depending on design requirements.
Hybrid
Modular Over M.S.E.
Placing GravityStone Evo Modular in the upper portion of the wall creates a large void zone for utilities, structures, or penetrations—without interfering with the reinforced MSE zone below. The system can be constructed as a vertical wall or with a 4.5° batter, depending on design requirements.
Advanced Applications
Lateral Hybrid
The system can be combined side-by-side, using MSE where space allows and transitioning to modular construction to navigate obstacles or where a narrower footprint is required. The system can be constructed as a vertical wall or with a 4.5° batter, depending on design requirements.
