In today's expanding cities and shrinking suburbs, space is critical. Property disputes arise when developers or city planners are in desperate need to make improvements but can not afford to disrupt the landowners. Geogrids take up precious excavation room. Although alternatives are available with poured in place, soil nail and panels, many times it comes down to an aesthetic appeal. Homeowners do not want to live next to walls that lower property value or give the neighborhood the feel of "freeway" property.
GravityStone is the solution to the tight site problem. Three easily assembled pieces allow structures up to 12' tall without geogrid (dependant on conditions). Assemblies can go even taller when geogrid is included, but due to its unique design, it can at times reduce geogrid lengths in half.
Combine the above with its ability to work with GravityStone MSE for a Hybrid wall and our Slide Stop process for seismic areas and you have a retaining wall product that rises above the rest.
